Find your way back to your strength.to your body.to your presence.to your calm.to your center.to your balance.
You want to be there for your child. And find strength, direction and trust in yourself again.*
SHIVA SHIFT brings together body-based practice, breath and personal support. Develop strength, find direction and shape everyday fatherhood with awareness and support from a circle of fathers.
* SHIVA SHIFT offers non-clinical coaching, support through personal change and self-exploration. It is not medical or psychotherapeutic treatment and does not replace assessment or necessary therapy. Individual outcomes are not guaranteed. Scope in detail
YOUR NEXT STEP
From reacting on impulseto conscious action.
Whatever brings you here: we begin where you are. Find your footing, build strength and move forward with other fathers — one manageable step at a time.
Your history is a starting point. Your next step is yours.
WHAT YOU BRING WITH YOU
You are a father. And you were once a child.
Sometimes a moment today touches something older than the current conflict. Perhaps you know the feeling of having to fight, withdraw or earn closeness.
Even without separation, fatherhood can touch your own experiences of closeness, absence, criticism or overwhelm. Not every difficult experience is trauma. What you have lived through still deserves attention.
What was missing then was not your responsibility as a child. Today, you can accept support, understand your responses and practise different ways of relating to your child. You do not have to become a perfect father.
A moment before your response. Your small room to act.
When the next message hits you: read it, take one comfortable breath and ask which response serves your child and your values. You do not have to react immediately.
I’m a father and yoga teacher. Questions about closeness, responsibility and finding your own way are part of my own life and co-parenting experience. SHIVA SHIFT connects that experience with a practice that begins in the body and carries into daily life.
I have been developing my path as a yoga teacher since 2019. Hatha, Vinyasa, Kundalini and Yin Yoga sit alongside meditation and breathwork. My 800 hours of yoga teacher training are complemented by sports studies and teaching sport at an alternative school.

As a communications manager, former copywriter and commercial model, I also know creative work and the question of how much of ourselves remains visible behind a role. My work is not about a perfect image of masculinity. It is about attentive connection, agency and a next step that feels right.
Your child’s well-being, shared responsibility and respect guide our work. Every practice is optional. Coaching does not replace therapy.
I’m Sashiva. As a father, I wanted a space that connected my questions: my relationship with my child, my body, my history and my everyday choices. I missed a form of support that brought these experiences together. That is why I created SHIVA SHIFT.
The program draws on my personal experiences with therapy, yoga, bodywork, inner work, breathwork and plant medicine. This describes my own journey, not a clinical qualification or proof of treatment effectiveness. Plant medicine is not a requirement for participation.
My approach brings together body practice, coaching, shared conversation among fathers and personal support through change. I aim to stand alongside fathers in challenging phases of life with attention, experience and practical prompts, to the best of my knowledge and ability. We explore together what fits each person.
WHAT TO EXPECT
More than talking about change. Practice it.Embody it.Cultivate it.Implement it.Unfold it.Live it.
Body-based practice is our starting point. Breath, awareness, honest reflection and community come together as a practice for daily life, with room for both strength and vulnerability.*

Come back to your body. Feel more at home in yourself.
Your body is more than something that has to perform. It is also where you can notice tension, fatigue, limits and vitality. Yoga, mindful movement and simple somatic exercises form a central part of our shared practice.
We start accessibly and build gradually. Hatha, Vinyasa, Kundalini and Yin offer different approaches, from movement and alignment to quieter holds. You do not need to be flexible or demonstrate anything. A smaller movement or a pause is a valid choice.
EXPLORE THE PRACTICEYour breath.More room to respond.+Breathwork runs through the program: conscious breathing, self-regulation and opportunities for deeper self-exploration.Read more ↓
Your breath. More room to respond.
You explore how breathing feels in different situations. Gentle awareness, guided breathing practices and periods of rest can become part of your personal toolkit. The aim is not the most intense experience, but an approach that fits you.
Some people connect breathwork with spiritual meaning or a shift in perspective. There is room for that without expecting or guaranteeing a particular experience. More intensive practices require a separate conversation about suitability, boundaries and support; they are not the same as the short exercise on this page.
EXPLORE THE PRACTICETrain your attention.Be more fully here.+Meditation, mindfulness and Yoga Nidra invite you to notice thoughts and feelings without having to act on them immediately.Read more ↓
Train your attention. Be more fully here.
Mindfulness here means paying closer attention to your experience. Awareness also means recognising habits, inner commentary and automatic responses. Meditation is not a competition to switch off your thoughts.
We use guided attention, quiet moments and restorative practice. Your eyes can stay open. If turning inward feels uncomfortable, you can orient to the room, move or pause. Your feedback matters more than an idealised picture of meditation.
EXPLORE THE PRACTICEQuestion the roles.Find your own expression.+Archetypes and their shadow sides become tools for reflection: which qualities do you want to embody, and which expectations put you under pressure?Read more ↓
Question the roles. Find your own expression.
Archetypes are images to reflect with, not diagnoses or templates for correct masculinity. We explore qualities such as care, clarity, courage and creativity. Each can help or become distorted: clarity can turn into control, care into abandoning your own needs.
Shadow work means looking honestly at what you would rather not notice: avoidance, harshness, seeking approval or believing you must carry everything alone. It is an invitation to reflection, not a shaming verdict.
EXAMPLES FROM THE PRACTICE
Archetypes as flexible reflection tools
Shadow sides and role expectations
Boundaries, values and responsible self-leadership

Understand relationships. Find new ways to connect.
We look at how you experience closeness, distance, conflict and needs. Attachment patterns are prompts for discussion, not fixed labels for you, your child or other people in your life.
Terms such as inner child, father wound or mother wound invite questions about early experiences and present needs. Nobody has to disclose memories or relive distressing events. Attachment wounds and trauma can be acknowledged, but their treatment is not something this coaching promises.

You do not have to do it alone. Keep growing together.
You meet fathers who do not need the same life story to take you seriously. Listening, sharing and choosing silence can sit alongside each other. This is not a competition to appear especially deep or especially strong.
Body-based practice and self-regulation remain personal experiences; community can offer additional support and co-regulation. We discuss boundaries, respectful interaction and what you choose to share. A group is not a substitute for individual therapeutic support.
EXPLORE THE PRACTICEPlant traditions.Make informed choices.+A space to reflect on cultural context, expectations, personal boundaries and a responsible understanding of plant medicine.Read more ↓
Plant traditions. Make informed choices.
Plant medicine is not a blanket term for harmless or automatically suitable substances. We look at the meanings of plant traditions in different contexts and the expectations attached to them. Information is not the same as a recommendation to use something.
Taking part in the program does not require substance use. The content of each cohort is clarified before booking. This page promises no specific applications or supplies and recommends no doses, self-medication or healing effects.

Energy work. Explore your experience.
Energy healing and energy work mean different things to different people. Guided body awareness, meditation and intentional periods of rest may have a place in the program. We name the actual practice and explore whether it feels appropriate for you.
This is an experiential, spiritual approach, not a scientifically established healing treatment. It does not replace medical or psychological care. You can opt out at any point; no special sensation or worldview is expected.

UNDERSTAND THE WORK
Practise together. Connect honestly.
Online sessions: twice a week, around 2½ hours each. Movement, breathwork, meditation and reflection form a shared rhythm.*
Bring your current situation. Together, explore what supports you, where you meet limits and which response you want to practise in daily life. You decide how much to share; each exercise can be adapted.
Father circle: a separate space for listening, experience and support. You can also join without taking the program.
Understand what shaped you. Practise what you want to pass on.
We connect reflection on your history, archetypes and inner-child work with mindful body practice. We begin with your experience today, at your pace and within your boundaries.
01
Notice
What is happening within you? Tension, withdrawal, anger or a wish for recognition can first be noticed.
02
Understand
What need or familiar protective pattern might be involved? We explore connections without defining you by your past.
03
Respond differently
Feel the ground, name a boundary, agree a pause, reconnect: insight takes a practical form in everyday life.
Father and mother wounds+
Here these words describe painful experiences with important caregivers, such as missing support, criticism or conditional closeness. We also notice what sustained you. These are not diagnoses or blanket judgments of parents. The focus is what you need and can influence today.
Inner-child work and needs+
The inner child is a way of describing early feelings and needs that may still resonate today. Optional reflection, journaling and a kinder inner conversation help you explore what you need. You do not have to retrieve memories, disclose anything or forgive anyone.
Archetypes and protective patterns+
Warrior, King, Lover and Magician are flexible images for courage and boundaries, responsibility, connection and insight. We explore helpful and difficult expressions: when does protection become harshness, leadership become control or withdrawal become the only response? The aim is more choice, rather than fixed masculine roles.
Presence, mistakes and reconnection+
You can reconnect with your child after a difficult moment: listen, take responsibility for your behaviour and offer an appropriate apology. Your child does not have to comfort you or carry your history. Presence grows through many small, repeated moments.
Body-based work here means noticing sensations, finding orientation and support, and trying new responses. SHIVA SHIFT offers coaching and self-exploration, not psychotherapy or trauma treatment. We do not promise to release trauma from the body or close parental wounds in nine weeks. Distressing experiences do not have to be relived. We discuss personally whether this setting fits you or whether therapeutic support would be more appropriate.
Between sessions is where integration begins: not another performance to deliver, but a chance to try a different response. The journal and challenge book give your observations a place.

Listen, show up and experience support. This illustrative scene conveys community. The regular father circle meets online; in-person encounters are planned for the optional retreat.
Explore where you are, recognise early signs of stress and build an accessible body-based practice. Yoga, conscious breathing and somatic exercises support taking stock and creating a vision board. Awareness becomes practical agency: a pause before reacting, movement that suits you and a manageable rhythm for everyday fatherhood.
Explore roles and archetypes, deepen mindfulness and meditation, and reflect on needs and boundaries. Attachment patterns and questions from your personal history have room without becoming fixed labels. Body-based practice and journaling connect these insights with practical ways to respond differently to yourself and others.
Clarify your values, examine familiar habits and practise new responses in manageable situations. Agency means using the influence you actually have. Bring together useful movement, breathing and reflection practices in a personal integration plan. Community and follow-up support the transition from a program experience into daily life.
Self-regulation, agency and stress resilience are not just topics to talk about.
The practice in detail
Yoga and somatic movement provide a physical foundation. Breathwork and meditation develop awareness. Reflection and conversation connect these experiences with your relationships and decisions.
Archetypes, attachment patterns and inner-child reflection offer perspectives for exploring your story. The aim is not to fix you. It is to act with greater awareness and responsibility, with clear boundaries and room to be vulnerable. We call this shared path Sacred Fatherhood.
3 modules × 3 weeks. One shared path of development.
Three modules guide you from finding your footing, through understanding your patterns, to shaping what comes next. Each spans three weeks, combining body-based practice, breath, reflection and practical steps for everyday fatherhood.

MODULE 1 / SPRING & AUTUMN
Arrive. Find your footing.
WEEK 1
Starting point & direction
What's happening now — and what would you like to change?
Look at your current situation, your time with your child and the areas that drain your energy. A personal vision board makes your wishes visible and turns them into achievable steps.
In your everyday lifeWrite down what matters to you as a father and where you want to begin this week.
Practice outline: around 45 minutes of yoga within a 150-minute session. Practices and duration adapt to the group.
Your starting point can include your own upbringing: what care did you experience, what was missing, and what would you like to offer your child? You choose what to share.
Starting point & vision — Understand your starting point and turn self-efficacy into practical steps.
WEEK 2
Regulation & relief
A pause between stimulus and response.
Learn to notice tension sooner. Conscious breathing, gentle movement and body awareness become practical tools you can use even between appointments.
In your everyday lifePractice a brief pause before sending a message or having a difficult conversation.
Practice outline: around 50 minutes of yoga within a 150-minute session. Practices and duration adapt to the group.
We explore early signs of tension and small ways to orient to the present. This creates room to notice withdrawal, harshness or the pressure to keep performing.
Individual exercises become a manageable practice. Yoga and movement are adapted to your experience and circumstances. Notice what actually helps you rather than chasing an ideal.
In your everyday lifeChoose a small, regular time for movement or rest.
Practice outline: around 60 minutes of yoga within a 150-minute session. Practices and duration adapt to the group.
Body & strength — Body practice as a reliable foundation for fatherhood.
MODULE 2 / SPRING & AUTUMN
Understand. Recognize patterns.
WEEK 4
Patterns & role models
What story do you tell yourself about yourself?
Explore the expectations you hold about men, fathers and yourself. Archetypes are used as prompts for reflection. Your own experience remains the starting point; rigid ideals of masculinity do not dictate the answers.
In your everyday lifeWrite down a belief that puts you under pressure and a more helpful alternative.
Practice outline: around 70 minutes of yoga within a 150-minute session. Practices and duration adapt to the group.
Father and mother wounds, inner-child reflection and inherited roles have an explicit place here. Archetypes such as Warrior, King, Lover and Magician help us explore protection, responsibility, connection and insight as flexible qualities. We ask what once protected you and what you would like to approach differently today.
Archetypes & men’s work — Explore roles, develop strengths and take conscious responsibility.
WEEK 5
Attention & inner calm
Be present without having to fix everything immediately.
Deepen mindfulness and meditation. Guided rest practices and Yoga Nidra create space to notice your thoughts and slow everyday life down for a moment.
In your everyday lifeGive a shared moment with your child your undivided attention.
Practice outline: around 80 minutes of yoga within a 150-minute session. Practices and duration adapt to the group.
Inner-child reflection can mean meeting a present feeling with kindness and naming a need behind it. We stay with what feels manageable now; memories do not have to be searched for or relived.
Presence & attention — Listen, act deliberately and stay available to your child.
WEEK 6
Stability & boundaries
What supports you when things get difficult?
Strength-building yoga, grounding and somatic exercises deepen physical and inner stability. Reflection and conversation help you notice and express your boundaries clearly.
In your everyday lifePrepare a clear, respectful boundary for a specific everyday situation.
Practice outline: around 90 minutes of yoga within a 150-minute session. Practices and duration adapt to the group.
We distinguish a protective boundary from control. Body-based exercises, grounding and intentional pauses connect this reflection with noticing your choices today.
Stability & boundaries — Practise sovereignty: stand clearly, respect boundaries and stay connected.
MODULE 3 / SPRING & AUTUMN
Live. Practise new paths.
WEEK 7
Clarity & alignment
From a wish to a conscious decision.
Return to your goals: which still fit? Which reflect other people's expectations? Reflection, journaling and conversation help you connect your decisions with your values as a father.
In your everyday lifePlan a manageable step that is genuinely within your control.
Practice outline: around 100 minutes of yoga within a 150-minute session. Practices and duration adapt to the group.
What would you like to keep from your family, change or begin anew? You shape your own picture of fatherhood, with room for mistakes, support and growth.
Clarity & direction — Connect values, goals and practical decisions.
WEEK 8
Habits & new responses
Recognize old loops. Practice different paths.
Look at behaviors that hurt you or your relationships. Practice alternative responses and discuss setbacks without letting them define you.
In your everyday lifeTry a different response in a recurring situation and reflect on it.
Practice outline: around 110 minutes of yoga within a 150-minute session. Practices and duration adapt to the group.
Using everyday conflicts, we practise recognising familiar protective responses and reconnecting: announcing a pause without disappearing, taking responsibility without attacking yourself, and returning to your child after a mistake.
Patterns & self-efficacy — Understand old reactions and practise new responses in daily life.
WEEK 9
Integration & moving forward
What stays with you when the program ends?
Gather the practices and insights that have become dependable for you. Build a personal plan for life as a father, with routines, support and room for adjustments.
In your everyday lifeWrite a practical plan for the first weeks after the program.
Practice outline: around 60 minutes of yoga within a 150-minute session. Practices and duration adapt to the group.
Integration also means practising what you have learned in small moments of relationship: listening, respecting boundaries and reconnecting after conflict. We consider what support could help you continue.
Integration & responsibility — Choose your next step and take sustainable routines with you.
Tuesdays and Thursdays at 19:00 (Europe/Berlin): 2½ hours of online practice each, five hours per week in total. The additional father circle meets on Mondays; its time and exact cohort start dates will be announced.

Personal 1:1 coaching
Your questions have a space of their own. Without having to explain yourself to a group, you can sort through what matters now. We look for a next step that fits you, not an idealized image of manhood.
Monday evenings planned. Also without joining the program. Meet other fathers, hear different experiences and share your own if you wish. This is not about who has the strongest story. It is about building connection and being present for each other.
The voluntary in-person program completion: a Baltic coast retreat at an additional cost. Cook together, spend time outdoors and practise in the mornings and evenings. YOUR RHYTHM. YOUR SUPPORT.
One conversation can bring clarity. Ongoing support can stay with you.
A specific question or a longer process: individual coaching and mentoring combine conversation, body awareness and practical steps. Together, we explore what you need and a rhythm that fits your life.
One session, weekly, fortnightly or monthly. Each session lasts 55 minutes. Start with one conversation or enquire about an agreed period of ongoing support.
The total depends on your rhythm and agreed number of sessions. Weekly examples: 4 × €99 = €396, 12 × €88 = €1,056, 52 × €77 = €4,004. These are totals for the full period, not monthly charges. Dates, payment and terms are agreed before a binding booking. No automatic renewal.
For fathers and fathers-to-be who want direction, strength or more conscious relationships. No yoga experience is needed. Individual coaching, the father circle and the program offer different starting points.
How much time do I need each week?
For the program, five live online hours: two 2½-hour sessions. Allow additional time for reflection and short challenges. One 55-minute conversation per module is included. The father circle is included in the module price and takes place in addition to the five practice hours.
What is included in the program?

What does it cost?
Existing price guide: program from €555 per module (three modules from €1,332), individual coaching from €111 for 55 minutes, father circle €15 per meeting. The optional retreat has a planned additional budget of around €400–500 excluding travel. Final terms are confirmed before booking.
When can I start?
Starts are planned in spring and autumn, with two cohorts per year for each module. Exact dates will follow. Individual coaching and joining the father circle are discussed in an introductory conversation.
Is SHIVA SHIFT therapy?
SHIVA SHIFT supports personal development, direction and everyday fatherhood. It does not diagnose, treat or relieve illnesses, and does not provide psychotherapy or trauma treatment. Body-based exercises, yoga, breath awareness, meditation, reflection and shared conversation are offered for self-exploration and everyday practice. They are not equivalent to medical or psychotherapeutic treatment. The program may be a voluntary addition, but cannot replace necessary care or guarantee particular health outcomes. Medical and psychotherapeutic decisions belong with appropriately qualified professionals.
Do I have to share personal things?
You decide what to share. Every practice is optional. We agree on a respectful, confidential setting; no one can guarantee absolute confidentiality by other group participants.
What happens in the introductory call?
We spend 30 minutes online exploring your situation and whether any support fits. The call is free and has no obligation. Choose a time in the existing calendar; this does not enrol you in a paid offer.
Can I join SHIVA SHIFT alongside therapy?
Depending on your circumstances, this may be possible. SHIVA SHIFT offers its own setting for body awareness, coaching, community and everyday practice. Body-based and group approaches can also be part of psychotherapy. If you are receiving treatment or have health concerns, discuss participation with your treating professional. Our introductory conversation explores a suitable setting and does not replace a clinical assessment.
What about practices and health considerations?
Every practice is optional and can be adapted, skipped or stopped. Pausing is not a failure. Discuss health concerns and possible contraindications with a suitable professional before participating. Do not change medication or ongoing treatment because of this program. SHIVA SHIFT is not an acute crisis service, addiction treatment or guidance for withdrawal. If you need urgent help, use local emergency medical services.
Are particular results guaranteed?
We provide the agreed setting for guidance, practice and conversation. Your experience and development are individual. Healing, symptom relief, a particular personal outcome or a relationship outcome are not guaranteed. Statutory rights and any expressly agreed refund promise are unaffected.
